Trust & Privacy

Trust, Privacy & AI

Your work should remain yours.

SAXSKIOLD uses AI to help you think, explore and work with your own material. We are designing the system so that privacy, provider choice and identity strength increase with the sensitivity of what you choose to do. This page says what is in place today, what is planned, and what we are still verifying.

You can explore how your data is processed, where it may go, which providers are used, and what controls are available to you.

Public beta transparency page

Some Trust Layer controls are still being implemented. Anything not yet active is clearly marked.

Your data

What happens to my data?

Different kinds of material are handled differently, depending on the product and what you ask it to do.

Candidate Universe
CV, LinkedIn text, role and opportunity material, interview notes, reflections.
Leadership Companion
Leadership situations, reflections, organisational context, checks of public claims.
CURRENT Companion
Questions about CURRENT, reflections, material you choose to add.

We use your data only to provide the experience you ask for.

To produce a response, what you write or upload is sent to an AI provider. It does not stay in your browser while that happens.

Storage

What is stored?

In this browser

Your position in the Candidate Journey and any notes you chose to keep with “Pause here”. This browser may remember where you were. That does not mean your working material is stored here.

In your account

Only where a feature explicitly saves something — today, situations and reflections in Leadership Companion, protected so only your account can read them.

Sent for AI processing

Candidate Universe does not save your candidate material on our side. It is still sent securely to AI providers when needed to generate a response. How long those providers keep it is something we are still confirming.

Choice

Privacy modes

In Leadership Companion and the Candidate Universe Tutors you can choose between two modes. Each changes only what we control ourselves; neither is the “better” one.

Leadership Companion

Standard

  • Your situation is sent to an approved AI model to produce a reading.
  • When a reading depends on a public fact, a short search phrase may go to a web search service. Names, emails, phone numbers and links are removed from it first.

Restricted

  • Your situation is sent to an approved AI model to produce a reading.
  • No web search at all. Nothing from your situation goes to a search service; readings say when a public fact could not be checked.

Saved with your account, so it applies on every device.

Candidate Universe — Tutors with screenshots

Standard

  • Text you add is sent to one AI model to produce Mimir's response.
  • Screenshots and images you add are sent too.

Restricted

  • Text you add is sent to one AI model to produce Mimir's response.
  • Screenshots and images are not accepted or sent. Paste the text instead.

Remembered in this browser only, as Candidate Universe has no sign-in.

Interview Preparation & Role Fit

Standard

  • Text you add is sent to one AI model to produce Mimir's response.
  • This tool takes typed text only — no screenshots, images or web search.

Restricted

  • Text you add is sent to one AI model to produce Mimir's response.
  • Nothing changes here compared with Standard: this tool already sends text only. Your choice carries over to the other Tutors, where images are then refused.

Remembered in this browser only, as Candidate Universe has no sign-in. The choice is shared with the other Candidate Universe Tutors.

In both modes, nothing is saved by us beyond what the product already says, and the AI provider's processing region, retention and training terms are still being confirmed.

An EU-only mode is planned. It can only be offered once providers confirm where they process data. CURRENT Companion has no mode choice yet.

Access

Identity & access

Stronger identity is asked for only when the system is asked to hold more valuable or sensitive information.

  1. Level 1 — Basic. Email and standard sign-in, for normal account access. In place.
  2. Level 2 — Strong. Two-step sign-in or passkey, when more sensitive material is stored. Planned Trust Layer control
  3. Level 3 — Verified. MitID or another national eID, only where verified identity is genuinely needed. Planned Trust Layer control

Shared identity does not mean shared content.

Separation

What is kept separate?

One SAXSKIOLD identity
→ Candidate Universe — candidate and opportunity material
→ Leadership Companion — situations and reflections
→ CURRENT Companion — CURRENT conversations

The same account may be used across products, but private content stays separate. One product cannot read another's material. Shared identity is not shared context.

Research

Public research vs private material

Public research works with company names, published job descriptions, annual reports, public websites and news.

Your private workspace holds your CV, interview notes, reflections and confidential working material.

Today, web search runs only in Leadership Companion, to check public claims, using short generated queries rather than your full conversation. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and links are removed from those queries before they are sent. In Restricted mode, no web search happens at all.

Models

How AI providers are chosen

We do not assume one AI model is best for every task. The aim is to use the best eligible model or tool within the privacy and data rules that apply — by product, task, sensitivity and capability.

Today Leadership Companion chooses among approved models; Candidate Universe and CURRENT Companion each use a fixed model. See current providers →

Limits

What we do not do

  • CurrentWe do not sell your personal information.
  • CurrentWe do not rank candidates against each other.
  • CurrentWe do not use private Candidate Universe material to assess another candidate.
  • CurrentWe do not move private content between Candidate Universe, Leadership Companion and CURRENT Companion.
  • CurrentWe do not infer sensitive personal attributes or build sensitive profiles from your use of SAXSKIOLD products.
  • CurrentWe do not use public research to investigate private or non-public personal information.
  • CurrentWe do not reuse identifiable personal stories as product knowledge without a lawful basis and clear notice.
  • PlannedWe do not silently switch an EU Private request to an unrestricted provider.Planned Trust Layer control

Learning

How we improve the products

We learn from patterns, not from repurposing identifiable personal stories.

We record how the products are used — that a situation was started, how many turns it ran — not what you wrote. Identifiable material is never quietly absorbed into product knowledge. In Leadership Companion you may separately allow us to read conversation content for research; it is off unless you turn it on, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Open questions

What we are still verifying

  • The exact processing region for AI calls
  • How long AI and search providers keep what is sent to them
  • Whether providers may use that material for training
  • Where our hosting and database are located, and whether that can be fixed to the EU
  • The full list of onward subprocessors

Where a technical or contractual detail is still being verified, we say so rather than assume.

Public beta

Is anything unclear?

This page is part of our public beta. If anything about privacy, AI providers, data handling or identity is unclear, we would like to know.

A few optional questions you might answer:

  • Did this page make you more comfortable using Candidate Universe, Leadership Companion or CURRENT Companion?
  • Was it clear what is current and what is planned?
  • Was it clear that AI providers may process your material?
  • Was the difference between public research and private material understandable?
  • Was anything too technical?
  • Is there anything you would want to know before sharing personal or confidential material?
